COLOUR MATCHING
We can absolutely make that colour for you! Like any good paint store we do have colour matching technology. Whether it is a sample from a competitor color, an old paint can, or a decorative cushion we can create your perfect colour.
Using our spectrophotometer to take a reading of your sample, we choose the best formula our computer provides and send it over to our tinting machine for dispensing and mixing. Voila! Perfect colour... but even a computer is no match for an experienced human eye! Sometimes we make manual adjustments to get it just perfect, so it may take a little time to reach that perfect match.
All we ask of you is for a little patience and to please provide a clean, opaque sample that is no less than 1 inch by 1 inch square. We are able match smaller samples by eye, but that takes longer and it's far more difficult to get an accurate view of the color.
We are unable to accurately match a colour from a computer or smartphone screen, or pixalated image, as these colours are represented differently via your screen and may be subject to unknown filters or effects providing a misleading colour performance.
